midweek groups
When
we read Acts chapter 2, we see that the Church met together
constantly and shared everything they had. They met and ate in
each others homes, worshipping God and breaking bread. In light of
this, all of our members are a part of a 'midweek
group.'
One household acts as the evening's
host, opening their homes to others in their community. Over the
course of the evening, we fellowship, worship, learn from the
Bible, eat together and break bread together.
It's great to be a part of God's
family!
Meetings like these are
vital,
because as the church continues to grow it becomes harder and
harder to meet everyone who attends on a Sunday. It also gives
each of us opportunity to grow in our knowledge of God, His word,
and in spiritual gifts.
