the marriage course

The Marriage Course is a great opportunity to spend time together as a couple in a relaxed and fun environment looking at the important issues in your marriage as well as learn practical tools in order to build a healthy relationship.  It is designed for EVERY marriage whether you’ve been married for 1 year or 40 years!  If you would like to find out more details about the course please go to the following website: www.themarriagecourse.org.

Our next course is starting in January 2008 on Saturday evenings at All Nations Church and consists of eight sessions (see below for dates and topics covered) spread over a ten week period.  The evening is composed of a video based presentation followed by discussion times with your spouse in a private and favourable atmosphere.  Therefore, it is worth pointing out that this course cannot be done without your spouse and we strongly recommend that it should be completed in its entirety.

The evenings start promptly at 7:30pm – 9:45pm and the dates and topics covered are as follows:-

  • January 19th – Building Strong Foundations

  • January 26th - The Art of Communication

  • February 2nd - Resolving Conflict

  • February 23rd - The Power of Forgiveness

  • March 8th - Parents and In-Laws

  • March 15th Good Sex

  • March 29th - Love in Action

  • April 5th - Marriage Course Party – “What makes a marriage work?”

The cost is a reasonable £30 per couple which includes manuals, refreshments and a buffet style meal on the last evening of the course This works out at less than £4 per couple per evening – a bargain!  Where else could you go for a night out to enjoy your spouse’s company, nibbles and drinks for under a fiver?

In a society where marriage is often undervalued we are excited that this course can help to protect and enrich our marriages.  Please join us in investing time into one of the most important relationships we have.
